The red cabins of Hamnøy
These are the iconic red rorbuer (fishermen's cabins) in Hamnøy, Lofoten, specifically known as the Eliassen Rorbuer. Eliassen Rorbuer is actually the oldest fisherman’s cottage resort in the Lofoten Islands, and behind them, you can see the mountain peak known as Festhaeltinden. I had the opportunity to visit this location in August, a time when it's bustling with tourists, and so, to capture a perfect shot of the rorbuer and the mountain behind them, I decided to go there at 4 o'clock in the morning, ensuring there would be no other people around and that I could capture the view in the beautiful morning light.
